1. Information getbots.io handles
- Account information, including your email address, profile details, and authentication records.
- Creator listing content, files, payout onboarding status, and marketplace activity.
- Library saves, purchases, upvotes, support messages, and records of consent.
- Technical and security information such as device, browser, IP, logs, and fraud signals when the production service collects them.
2. Why getbots.io uses information
- Create and secure accounts; deliver libraries, templates, and creator tools.
- Process future payments, refunds, payouts, taxes, and fraud checks.
- Moderate listings and upvotes, provide support, enforce policies, and comply with law.
- Measure and improve the service and send operational messages about your account or transactions.
3. Email-gated downloads
Some creators may require your account email before giving access to a free template. Before sharing it, getbots.io will identify the creator and ask you to confirm: “Share my getbots.io account email with this creator so they can provide template access and support. This does not subscribe me to marketing.”
If you do not agree, getbots.io will not share your email and the email-gated template will not be added to your library. This sharing is necessary for the access option chosen by that creator; it is not a blanket marketing consent.
4. Marketing requires a separate choice
A creator may send promotional or newsletter email only after a separate, optional opt-in that is not required to receive the template, or when another lawful basis applies. Marketing messages must identify the sender and provide a working unsubscribe method. getbots.io creators may not buy, sell, rent, append, or disclose downloader emails to others.
5. Other sharing
getbots.io may share information with service providers that support authentication, hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, fraud prevention, and future payment processing; with authorities or other parties when required to protect rights, safety, or comply with law; and in a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.
Payment and identity information submitted during Stripe onboarding is handled by Stripe under its own terms and privacy policy. getbots.io does not intend to store full card or bank credentials.
6. Retention, security, and choices
getbots.io retains information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, legal obligations, security, accounting, and disputes. Consent records and transaction records can be retained after account closure where required.
Use the account or support channel to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data where applicable. getbots.io will verify the request and may retain information the law permits or requires. No online service can promise absolute security.
7. Children, international use, and changes
getbots.io is not directed to children under 13 and accounts require users to be at least 18. Information may be processed in the United States and other locations used by service providers. Material policy changes will be posted with a new effective date and additional notice when required.
