1. About these terms
These Marketplace Terms govern your use of getbots.io, a service operated by Manifest Labs LLC. By creating an account, publishing a listing, saving a template, or otherwise using getbots.io, you agree to these terms.
getbots.io currently supports free listings and saved-template libraries. Paid listings are not yet available. The payment provisions below become effective only when getbots.io enables paid checkout and presents them before purchase.
2. Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You are responsible for access to your email account and for activity under your getbots.io account.
- Provide accurate information and do not impersonate another person or business.
- getbots.io may limit, suspend, or close accounts used for fraud, abuse, infringement, or repeated policy violations.
3. Listings and creator content
Creators keep ownership of their templates and grant getbots.io the limited rights described in the Creator Agreement to host, display, promote, and deliver them.
A listing must accurately describe what is included, any dependencies or limitations, the applicable license, and whether an email address is required for access.
- Do not list content you do not own or have permission to distribute.
- Do not include malware, credential theft, deceptive claims, unlawful content, privacy violations, or instructions whose primary purpose is harm.
- Do not claim affiliation with Grok or xAI unless you are authorized to do so. getbots.io is an independent marketplace.
4. Template licenses and AI outputs
The creator's stated license controls. If a listing does not state a license, the buyer receives a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the template for personal or internal business purposes. The template may not be resold, republished, sublicensed, or distributed as a competing template.
Templates are instructions for third-party AI services. getbots.io and creators do not guarantee that a template will remain compatible, produce a particular result, or be appropriate for legal, medical, financial, employment, or other high-stakes decisions. You must review outputs before relying on them.
5. Downloads and email-gated access
Saving a free template creates access in your getbots.io library. If a creator requires an email address, getbots.io will show the creator's identity and request your agreement before sharing your account email for access delivery and support.
Email sharing required for delivery is not consent to marketing. A creator may send promotional messages only after a separate, optional marketing opt-in or another lawful basis. See the Privacy & Email Consent Policy.
6. Upvotes
- Each signed-in account may give one upvote to a template and may remove that upvote later.
- Do not manipulate, buy, sell, trade, or automate upvotes.
- getbots.io may remove fraudulent or abusive upvotes and limit accounts that attempt to distort rankings.
7. Paid transactions
When paid listings launch, the creator will be identified as the seller for a direct charge processed through the creator's Stripe connected account. getbots.io will provide the marketplace and collect a 5% platform fee from the sale. Stripe processing fees, transaction taxes, refunds, disputes, currency conversion, and other disclosed deductions are separate from getbots.io's fee.
getbots.io is not a merchant of record service. Tax and payment responsibilities remain subject to applicable law, including rules that can make getbots.io responsible as a marketplace facilitator in a particular jurisdiction. The Refund Policy and Tax Responsibilities Policy form part of these terms.
8. Enforcement, availability, and liability
getbots.io may review, reject, unpublish, or remove a listing; preserve records required for disputes or law; and take reasonable steps to protect the service and its community.
The service and creator content are provided on an as-available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, getbots.io disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Nothing in these terms limits rights or liabilities that cannot legally be limited.
9. Changes and contact
getbots.io may update these terms as the marketplace changes. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and, when required, presented for acceptance. Questions or legal notices may be submitted through the support channel displayed on the service.
